- Volocity is a commercial software that used to be developed by PerkinElmer but is now owned by Quorum Technologies.
- It is used for deconvolution and making 3D measurements
The facility has two ‘complete’ licenses for Volocity which are on dongles. Complete means they cover the modules Visualisation, Quantification and Restoration. One of each are on the image analysis workstations, Holycow (the workstation currently physically available in CG06) and Cleopatra (accessible remotely).
During the pandemic, Quorum have released satellite licenses for Volocity. Currently these licenses will work until the end of the year, get in touch if you would like one.
- We plan to create a general guide to using Volocity. Once complete it will be found here.
