Health and Safety
The IGMM Imaging Facility operates in line with the Health and Safety Policies of the IGMM and University of Edinburgh . We expect all of our workers to follow the University policy on good laboratory practice whilst using the Imaging facilities.
All research work in the imaging facility needs to be covered by an existant risk assessment which should be either on the database or with the WGH Health and Safety manager, Rosie Russell.
All workers in the imaging facility must have undertaken an IGMM Health and Safety and Buildings induction prior to commencement of work. They also agree to follow the guidance of imaging facility staff members and work to the instrument SOPs.
